A story of emotion
by Kyriakos Kaziras
introduction by Pierre Ménès
I adore listening to Kyriakos talk about his photos; the one of the stork standing stock still until it swallows a fish whole, or the one of the leopard in the night.
But what I most prefer in his work are the looks. Until then I had never known a wildlife photographer to spend so much time on his subjects’ expressions, whether lions, tigers or gorillas.
Discover all these photos in this book and share this extraordinary emotion with me.
This book is the outcome of 6 years of expeditions throughout the world, where I viewed wild animals through the eyes of a photographer and an art lover.
While photographing the animals, my eyes focused on framing, setting the stage and the power of the lines to be found in the paintings I love, as well as the feeling you get before a work of art.
The pixels replaced the paint and my camera replaced the paintbrush, but besides the technical means, the aim of my photographs remains the same, namely to make you sense the animal’s emotion.
I hope you will get as much emotion out of reading this book as the pleasure I had in making it.
I'll have the pleasure to customize your book.
Please tell me the desired dedication.
